Our Founder

At Compass, commercial real estate finance is active, not passive.  We analyze, package, and market every loan to create competition among lenders—so you get the best terms, rates, and structure possible.

That philosophy drives every step of our process—from the first conversation to final closing. Too often, borrowers approach a bank, hand over the requested documents, and simply wait to hear what the bank thinks of their request. This approach is not only time-consuming, but it puts the borrower at a clear disadvantage when it comes to proceeds, interest rate, terms, and personal recourse.

We never pass borrower information to a lender without first analyzing, packaging, and fully understanding it—because in this business, you can’t structure or negotiate what you don’t understand.

Our loan packages are built on rigorous analytics supported by real market data. Comparable sales, competing rental rates, asset quality, sponsorship strength, and detailed financial and property information are all integral components. We believe understanding the fundamentals of the property is just as important as understanding the submarket where it’s located.

We operate daily in commercial real estate finance markets, closely tracking which lenders are actively closing loans in specific property types.
